‍2004 – 2006: The Foundation and Evolutionary Shift

‍The groundwork for what we are today was laid on February 24, 2004, when the enterprise was originally incorporated in Malaysia. Backed by a core vision to deliver rigorous engineering and structural aircraft solutions, we entered an industry that was rapidly modernizing and expanding throughout Southeast Asia. However, the defining turning point arrived in the spring of 2006. Managing Director Mark McGregor—bringing years of elite OEM engineering insight from his tenure as Engineering Manager with Eurocopter Malaysia—officially spearheaded a massive company rebranding.

In 2006, the company underwent its official transformation into Hammock Helicopter. Under this new banner, the mission expanded drastically: to bring specialized, flexible, independent MRO excellence, pre-purchase aircraft evaluation, and a robust material parts supply chain directly to regional operators who needed rapid, cost-effective solutions without the bureaucratic downtime of massive OEM corporate networks.Twenty Years of Proven Cross-Platform CapabilityOver the last two decades, Hammock Helicopter has scaled from a dedicated regional maintenance provider into a trusted global support network.
